Let’s take a moment to look back at the origin and meaning of Vietnamese Women’s Day, October 20. On October 20, 1930, the Vietnam Anti-Imperialist Women’s Association (now known as the Vietnam Women’s Union) and the Communist Party of Vietnam designated this date as a national day to honor Vietnamese women — officially known as “Vietnamese Women’s Day.”
At that time, October 20 marked a historic milestone affirming women’s equal rights in Vietnam. Women were recognized as having the same rights to participate in political, social, and electoral activities. Today, October 20 remains a meaningful celebration that honors and appreciates women’s contributions across all areas of life — from family and workplace to society as a whole.
On this special occasion, the leadership of Nhat Lo Phat 168 organized a company trip to Hue as a gesture of gratitude to all the incredible women working at the company. More than just a relaxing getaway, this trip symbolized the company’s deep appreciation for the invaluable contributions of women to NLP168’s growth and success. From the office and sales teams to technical support staff, everyone joined together to create joyful and memorable moments.
Nhat Lo Phat 168’s Women’s Day Trip to Hue
Unlike the bustling pace of Hanoi, Hue offered our team a chance to truly unwind after long, busy days at work. The trip was thoughtfully planned, combining cultural exploration, culinary experiences, and relaxing leisure activities.
From the moment the journey began, excitement filled the air — smiles and laughter lit up every face. After a smooth one-hour flight, we landed in Hue around 8 PM and immediately indulged in a delicious bowl of Hue-style noodle soup before heading back to Navilla Hue to rest. Everyone was eager and ready for two full days of fun and adventure ahead.
The second day in Hue began with a gentle morning rain. The city, already calm and poetic, seemed even quieter under the drizzle. Yet, the rainy season couldn’t dampen the excitement of the NLP168 ladies, who were eager to explore every corner of this charming city.
Everyone woke up early to kick off the day with a steaming bowl of authentic Hue beef noodle soup — a must-try local delight. The team then wandered through cozy, nostalgic cafés, snapped check-in photos at the entrance of the Imperial City, and posed by the iconic Truong Tien Bridge. Lunch was enjoyed at the elegant Vi Da Xua restaurant, followed by a sweet bowl of traditional Hue dessert — delicious and surprisingly affordable.
Every corner of Hue carries an air of timeless beauty and artistic grace, leaving a lingering sense of peace and affection in everyone’s heart long after the trip ended.
The last day in Hue greeted us with soft sunshine, as if to bid farewell in the most beautiful way. During this season, Hue’s sunlight isn’t harsh — just gentle rays filtering through green leaves, accompanied by a cool breeze, much like the warmth and kindness of the local people.
Thanks to the recommendations of friendly locals, the lovely ladies of NLP168 set out on their second food tour, savoring authentic Hue specialties before heading to explore the majestic Imperial City and the picturesque Incense Village. Of course, no trip would be complete without a visit to Dong Ba Market, where everyone eagerly filled their bags with local gifts and treats — from fresh spring rolls and bánh bèo to sweet bowls of Hue-style chè.
At 9 PM, the group boarded the flight back to Hanoi, marking the end of a memorable journey. Everyone returned home with hearts full of joy, laughter still echoing - and plenty of beautiful photos to remember the trip by.
